ECOncrete Technologies in Public Awareness Building Sculptures at Art Basel, Miami

ECOncrete®’s technology was incorporated into unique living sculptures by the Mexican Artist Alberto Aragón Reyes, at the upcoming Art Basel in Miami. Two massive sculptures displayed publicly, part of a Living shoreline exhibition. Both sculptures composed of ECOncrete®’s bio-enhancing admix. “The Witness” with an admix tailored to enhance terrestrial flora. “The Fisherman”, composed of a marine tailored blend facilitating bio-recruitment of flora & Fauna.

BIRD Foundation approved $​850K in funding

The Israel-U.S. Binational Industrial Research and Development (BIRD) Foundation approved $ 850K in funding for a collaborative R&D project by ECOncrete® and Besser Company (a world leader in concrete products machinery). The project, entitled: Bio-enhanced drycast concrete products that mitigate climate impacts will be launched in Q1 of 2016, and entail development of two innovative products aimed at reducing the ecological footprint of urban and coastal structures.

NYC Student Awarded Ivy League Scholarship for ECOncrete Research

ECOncrete®  congratulates New York Harbor Schools’ Tahirah Abdo for her amazing achievements. Based upon her ECOncrete’s research project, Tahirah won second place at the NYC Science and Engineering Fair over all high school’s in NYC, and will receive a full scholarship to an Ivy league top college!
