These quay wall units for the Port of Rotterdam create valuable habitat for local species in one of the busiest ports of the world.
We designed these quay wall units to support the settlement of local target species – and to withstand the massive ship-induced currents and tugboat thrust for a lifespan of at least 120 years. (Image: Quay wall units staged at the port’s site, 2022)
